Emily and her staff really make the place feel like home. She’s so kind, and Mohammed and Chris were great too. The place itself is beautiful, with Wi-Fi, hot water, and electricity around the clock. Breakfast is available for a small extra fee. Miss Emily’s is the BEST, I can’t picture staying anywhere else in Monrovia.

Annette is a wonderful host, and everyone on the staff makes an effort to help you have a good stay. Miss Emily's is right in the center, near the National Museum, restaurants, and the lively city markets. For Monrovia, it’s a very good value hotel.

It’s about a 6-minute drive from the US embassy, and the staff are nice. The AC and hot water both work. Electricity does go out for a few hours on some days, though they have a stand-by generator.

Miss Emily was so helpful and welcoming to us. It’s a safe, clean place to stay in Monrovia, though a little far from the IC embassy.
