The hotel has potential to become a staple for visitors to Liberia, but the management and staff need proper training. During my two-week stay, I found the experience disappointing, with roaches and untrained staff. It presents itself as more than it is, though in practice it operates like a 2-star hotel. The pool seemed clean from the edge, but once I got in, it looked like coloring had been used to cover dirt instead of cleaning it properly. At the bar, I asked for a simple shot with Coke and ice and was told, “we don’t do that,” even though it was a full bar. The service was poor throughout. Staff didn’t smile or engage with guests, and they wore no name badges. At check-in, I found the credit card system didn’t work. I later learned that most of Liberia doesn’t accept credit cards, but the hotel advertises on Booking.com, Priceline, and Expedia without saying cash is required. I had to pay $2,200 from my travel cash, which was a major inconvenience. The front desk staff weren’t helpful and made us feel as if we had no money or our cards were invalid. I asked for help, but nobody from management followed up. Some straightforward changes could help: train staff to find solutions instead of saying “no” or “we can’t do that,” and encourage them to smile and make eye contact when guests are nearby, following the Marriott Rule. Give employees room to resolve small problems before they grow, have them ask whether there’s anything else they can help with, and follow through on promises. Service should continue after check-in too, with a follow-up call or email about the guest experience.

Friday karaoke at the rooftop bar and other weekend events were a fun part of my stay. Lifestyle luxury hotel was comfortable from arrival onward, with a smooth check-in and staff who were welcoming, professional, kind, and attentive. My room was spotless and thoughtfully laid out, with a comfortable bed and the amenities I needed. The hotel felt calm and elegant, and it was easy to get around from its convenient location. Cleanliness and comfort clearly matter here, and the service and facilities exceeded my expectations. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, high-quality stay.

The gym was outstanding, and the room was very clean. We had excellent room service and incredibly friendly staff. The location is a bit far from the city, but this was our best experience in Liberia and I’d definitely recommend it to everyone.

The staff are well trained and understand customer service. The bathrooms were clean, and the property is well maintained, pleasing to look at, and set in a peaceful environment.
