It’s a really nice, peaceful neighborhood.

We arrived at 3:00 PM after paying for our stay a week earlier, but we couldn’t get the door code. The owner didn’t answer emails or calls, and we couldn’t reach him for half the day. We stayed in Druskininkai until 11:00 PM, but nobody called back. With no other accommodation available, we had to drive back to Vilnius that night with our six-year-old child. We’ve never had an experience like this.

The hostess was wonderful, and it seems like a good offer overall. The house itself has seen better days, though. The second floor feels like a dangerous place to go.
