Simpatija Hotel

The location was Simpatija Hotel’s strongest point, but it didn’t make up for the rest of the stay, which left me disappointed. The hotel was dirty, from stained furniture and unkempt common areas to dusty surfaces and cobwebs in my room. My bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, and the dated decor and worn furnishings made the room feel neglected. Noise was another problem. I could hear people talking and walking in nearby rooms through the thin walls, so it was hard to relax, sleep peacefully, or focus on work. Breakfast was a letdown too, with few choices, stale bread, and food that fell well below what I expected. It didn’t seem like much effort had gone into making it satisfying. There were issues from the time I arrived until checkout. If convenience is your main priority, the location might make the hotel worth considering. For a stay that feels enjoyable and satisfying, I’d look at other places in the area.

Breakfast was the best part for me. It’s a buffet, so you choose what you want, and there was lots to pick from. The food was delicious. I’d recommend the croissants, and for kids, hot chocolate or juice. I liked the hotel from the moment I arrived. Staff were there to greet me with a smile, even after my very long day, and the room was nice and clean. The beds were really comfortable, too. The location was okay, though the church nearby meant the bells could wake you. I was on the fifth floor, and another house partly blocked the view from my window.

There’s plenty nearby: across the street are two large lakes with walking paths, a playground, and wooden sculptures. Follow the promenade and you’ll reach a souvenir market, music fountain, aquapark, and cable car. Shops and restaurants are close, too. From breakfast you can see a small park and the main church. The location really couldn’t be better. There’s even a coffee machine with hot chocolate for kids, and the receptionist speaks Polish. The food is good, but breakfast could have more variety. Near the end of breakfast, they didn’t refill some things, like pancakes or fries. And carrot with garlic at breakfast is a brave choice :D

For a very reasonable price, you get a comfortable bed, a big tasty breakfast, and a small balcony with a nice view of the park and church. It’s a very nice little hotel.
