There was plenty to keep the family occupied, from the playground and sports courts to the pool, sauna, gym, billiards, table tennis and private beach. Some activities cost a lot and could be priced more reasonably, but we skipped the expensive ones and didn’t feel we were missing out. The grounds are park-like and well kept, the rooms are decent for the price, and the staff are really nice and focused on guests. The restaurant serves fabulous Lithuanian food at prices that aren’t cheap but feel fair.

The quiet here is something special. I spent two days at Oro Dubingiai for my birthday with family who came from Spai,France and Luxembourg, and we all had a lovely time relaxing at the spa, enjoying the lake and eating well. Danguolė, the restaurant chef, cooks very well, and the food was fresh and tasty.

The food was very tasty, and the chef paid attention to special needs and made sure everything fit our program schedule. There’s a beach and a viewpoint by Asveja Lake, about a five-minute walk away. The grounds are large, with lots of outdoor and sports facilities. A very nice place.

The location is priceless, which makes it a shame to see this place dying. I really hope someone with a clear idea of what good customer service looks like buys it and gets it running well. Please avoid it as things stand.

There are hammocks strung between old pine trees around the property, and the whole place feels very relaxing. The setting is lovely, with a pine forest and a lake, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is nice, though parts of it feel a little dated. There’s a pool and spa, along with plenty to do outside, including tennis, football, basketball and bike hire.
