Green Hill Apartments

Green Hill Apartments, Kaunas. Disappointed 😞 and sad that landlords like this still exist. It was close to where we needed to be, which was a plus. We stayed in apartment number 2. We booked it because my wife had a hip replacement and expected a ground-floor place without stairs, but only discovered on arrival that there were three steps inside the apartment to reach the bathroom. The toilet was very low, too, and the apartment was very poorly equipped. You also can't tell from the listing whether the apartment is all on one floor until you arrive. After I left a low rating about problems during the stay, the owner called on the evening we left. They used offensive language several times and referred more than once to my foreign surname. I found that deeply upsetting and completely inappropriate, and I think future guests should know about this conduct from a property listed on the platform.

A really comfortable bed and easy parking made the stay convenient. The apartments are modern, roomy, and beautifully clean, with a grocery store within walking distance. Laundry is available, too.

The sunny terrace was beautiful, and we had a wonderful stay. Rasa gave us excellent recommendations, drawing on her experience as a travel expert, and she made everything feel extra special. She and Adam were welcoming and so helpful. When I got a splinter in my thumb, Rasa went out of her way to help. She really cares about making your stay a good one. The apartment felt safe, with a great code lock so there was no key to carry around. It was bright, very clean, comfortable, and felt like home. There were plenty of towels, lovely shower gel and hand wash, and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. The sheets and bedding were excellent quality, and the living room sofa bed was easy to set up and really comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of glasses, plates, cups, and cutlery, plus salt and pepper. The smart TV in the living area worked well and was easy to use. There was lots of hanging room for clothes and coats. We can't wait to come back soon.

We've stayed here twice and found the apartments clean, cosy, and well maintained. They're new, parking was no problem, and the location is fairly close to the historic centre. I can recommend them to anyone travelling through or to Kaunas.
