I had to leave just ten minutes after arriving with my kids. The air freshener smell was strong and sticky everywhere, and downstairs there was also an old-house smell. It’s a shared house and kitchen with the owner, which I didn’t like. The linen didn’t look like it had been changed.

A nice woman greeted us when we arrived at 2 pm, but after that it was an unpleasant stay. We wanted to do laundry straight away and said we had our own washing machine when asked. The hostess said we’d use too much electricity and expected another 20 euros for two loads. We put the laundry in and paid. The room wasn’t the one we had booked, because the owner was sleeping in the room we were meant to have. The toilet had towels that definitely weren’t freshly washed, there was uncollected garbage, hair in the bathroom, and mess everywhere. We asked when the door would be locked before going into town and were told to be back by 10 pm. When we returned, the owner was in bed, the door was wide open, and the TV was loud. We said we were packing up and leaving.

We were a family of five with a small child 🐕, and arrived at 10 PM without a reservation. They found room for us without any trouble and arranged things so we could make porridge for our youngest, who was 10 months old. The room had air conditioning and a balcony. Everyone slept well and got some rest, just what we needed on a long journey.
