There was plenty of room among the trees to hang my hammock, and the train going by in the morning turned out to be a quirky, fun wake-up. The staff were welcoming and especially nice about my hammock setup. The site was clean and well organized, with an indoor sitting and eating area and a small kitchen. I had a really good stay here. Great spot by the sea, especially for solo travellers and people who love nature. I’d recommend it.
We paid 37€ in low season for our car and caravan and two adults, which felt far too expensive for an overnight stop when the showers only had cold water. Reception knew the system wasn’t working but couldn’t do anything about it. We would never recommend this place.
The location is nice and close to the beach. Trains go by often and are quite loud, though they didn’t bother us. There’s a covered kitchen and dining area, and drinking water is available. The showers had weak pressure. There’s also a basketball court, and reception lent us a ball.
The railway line behind the campsite is the main drawback. Trains pass at night and early in the morning, so light sleepers may want to avoid it. I slept well, though. We stayed in a tent and had plenty of space and privacy. The receptionist was friendly and spoke good English. The indoor kitchen was well equipped, the showers and toilets were clean, and there were lots of sockets for charging devices.
The campsite is expensive, and the customer service wasn’t good. There’s a railway track right beside it, with very loud trains passing in the daytime, at night and in the morning.
