We stayed for a short week at Old Mill Hotel, or rather at the Comfort Inn across the road. Our attic room was spacious and cosy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had lots of variety and tasted great. Check the timetable for the old-fashioned harbour bridge, or you could get stuck on the island for 15 minutes.

The location was the best part, and the rooms have been newly renovated. Just note there’s no hotel parking, and the nearby lots are all in the red zone at €1.50 an hour. Breakfast was mediocre, and cleanliness there was lacking.

A beautiful window view and an excellent breakfast, right in the city center. It’s very good value for money.

A really cute hotel made from authentic old buildings, with quite spacious rooms and bathrooms. There’s no parking. The view is of the old port or the Dane river. Breakfast was modest, with limited choice.

I really loved this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the location was great, and the staff were helpful.
