The host lady was nice, though this place seems much more suited to British hen party girls. Parking was awful, the Wi-Fi was too, and the bathroom was no better.

What a mistake. The rooms were dirty, full of insects, and the finish was a disaster. I don't know what building rules apply in Lithuania, but the hostel looks like the owner occasionally thinks, “I’ll add an extension.” The result is a building full of odd corners and bizarre architectural solutions, like something out of... Bangladesh? One star because the lady was nice.

God save us! The beds were made of badly nailed boards, and the carpets had disturbing stains. Bathrooms had exposed pipes and loose tiles. On the veranda, the sofa seemed like the ultimate breeding ground for bacteria, the half-broken fabric wardrobe looked like it had seen hardship and marginalization, and the horned ox skull summed up the decay throughout the hostel.
