A good choice for anyone who enjoys fishing and walks in nature and plans to spend most of their time outdoors. The setting suits those activities well. The rooms are compact but seem clean, with the essentials provided. The pancakes at breakfast are tasty.

We loved the room, especially the little kitchenette in it. The service and food were perfect. 😍 We’ll be back with our family many times.

We’re back for our second year at the Blue Carp Barge. Our favorite is the quadruple room at the back of the boat, which we’ve booked twice. It’s spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a big outdoor terrace overlooking the river. The grounds are lovely, the food is delicious, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There’s plenty to do nearby for adults and children, including fishing, and it’s a peaceful place to enjoy nature. The only small drawback is that the wifi signal is too weak to work at the back of the barge. Everything else more than makes up for that.

The houseboat is beautiful, and the accommodation has everything you need. Service was excellent, and communication with the staff was top-notch. It’s a phenomenal, almost magical place, and the stay will be one to remember. Best regards.
