Smiltynė Yacht Club is a cool place with decent facilities, and the harbour masters are friendly. The harbour gets wild, with waves coming from all over depending on the wind :) I'm a total newbie, so don't ask me which way. The restaurant staff are super nice, but the menu is pricey and has barely anything for vegetarians. No pizza on Mondays, even in high season :) don't ask why. The restaurant closes in winter, so hotel guests staying off-season have nowhere to eat.

The yacht club is a nice midway stop, with a charming restaurant, great views, and a relaxing feel. It’s best reached from the old ferry. To get there, take a scenic 3 km summer walk along the lagoon, from the old ferry to the new one, through quiet forest paths and over gentle sandy hills. A lovely escape into nature.

The location and views are great, though the surroundings could use a few small fixes. Neighbors played Russian music for half the night. I don't think there's a policy about that, money is money.

We spent two nights here in our camper and had everything we needed, including laundry and a dryer. Bring your own laundry capsules. The toilets were clean, and the showers had doors, so they felt private. The cafe is nice, the view over the water is great, and everyone speaks English. Reception staff were friendly too. I really enjoyed the stay and recommend a visit.

The staff were so friendly and helped with all our somewhat odd requests. Breakfast, included at the restaurant, was totally OK, and while the menu is quite limited, the food tastes delicious. Our room was clean, had AC, a WC and shower, and the view was perfectly OK. Very good value for money. The island is beautiful, but remember the hotel is on an island and you have to take a ferry from mainland Klaipėda. There are no stores there, so buy any food or drinks you need before boarding.
