I was comfortable enough in the room, and opening the window worked fine since it wasn’t too hot, even at the start of summer. There’s a portable AC, though I wasn’t sure how effective it was. This is a good three-star European hotel, and a place to sleep was all I needed. I came to travel, not stay in the room, so having a roof over my head for what I paid was great. If you want an inexpensive, nice hotel with decent accommodations and breakfast included, I’d recommend it pretty highly.

At 212 cm, I found the rain shower low even for a regular-height person, maybe around 180 cm, and the other shower head was broken. The mattress was king size but had no box spring or other solid support, so sleeping felt like being on big waves, and the blanket was queen size. The knobs were falling off, and the old-fashioned toilet moved while I used it. I was in too much pain to have breakfast.

The building is nice and the location is good, but the really bad service spoiled it all for us. We had a birthday party there a few weeks ago, and the woman at reception was rude and unfriendly. Guests first meet someone from reception, and we didn’t feel welcome at all. A smile costs nothing. The staff need training in being friendly, helpful, and nice to guests. Very disappointed 👎👎

Breakfast was really good and tasty, and the room was clean, had everything necessary, and came with a comfortable bed. We chose this place because it’s close to the swimming pool and spa. Reception offers better prices for the spa centre. It’s in a separate building about 200 m away, but an easy walk.

A nice old hotel in a quiet place.
