Tako Baras

Restaurant Tako Baras, visited 19.09 at 3-4 PM. The waitress was very rude. When I asked something, she yelled at me as if I were crazy. If she couldn't understand my English, there were plenty of polite ways to ask me to repeat the question.

The rooms were clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was handy to have a restaurant downstairs for dinner, and the beach is only a short 7 minute walk away. But the hotel only has rooms for two, and booking for 3 costs extra for another bed, something that isn't stated. There’s no sauna or pool either. The only explanation, I presume from the manager or owner, was that it did not meet a need.

The place was clean, with seating both inside and outside. It’s close to the sea and beach, and the soups and coffee were tasty.

The chicken stake was okay, but most of the food was terrible. Don't get the fried dumplings or chicken pot roast (vistienos užkepele), they seemed microwave made. They said the microwave was needed to melt the cheese.
