Preila’s surroundings are gorgeous, and the location is one of the best parts of this stay. The accommodation itself is very basic, though, and a lot of the facilities need repairs or upgrades, so don’t expect much comfort indoors. We weren’t told about the extra cleaning fee until we arrived. I’d recommend checking all charges in advance. Our neighbors said the fee surprised them too, and they’d been charged a different amount. That left me with an unpleasant impression of the owner’s honesty.

It’s beautiful, quiet, and really relaxing, but at 100€/day I couldn’t give it five stars. Only one of the gas stove’s two burners works, which makes getting food ready quickly for the kids difficult. The bathroom sink only has cold water, so they had to wash and brush their teeth with ice-cold water. Maybe I’ll come back :)

All three Kristina apartments have their own feel, and the surroundings are beautiful and well kept. Kristina-2 looks straight out over the lagoon, with a spot to relax on its shore. At Kristina-1, there’s a separate summer house, where we spent rainy evenings. It’s a great, quiet place to unwind, and we’ll definitely return.
