Monist by SPA VILNIUS

The restaurant was amazing. We really enjoyed the food and service, thank you. This review is about the spa and restaurant, not the hotel itself. I chose the spa because it works with ESPA and expected that level of service and standards, but my experience was far below what I've had at other ESPA spas. The changing room was so small that only one or two people could change comfortably, and the lockers couldn't fit our things. With just a jacuzzi and one sauna, there wasn't much to do over two hours. The facilities were well maintained and looked nice, and there was tea and water. After treatments upstairs, they sent us back to the changing room, but it was locked and we couldn't get in. Communication and instructions about what to expect or how to behave were lacking, and there was nowhere to relax after treatment. Communication before we arrived was confusing too. It wasn't worth the money, and I won't return.

We stayed one night and loved it. The hotel is new, modern, beautiful and cosy, with clean rooms and quality bath products. The whole place smelled like a forest, and the staff were super friendly, speaking Lithuanian, English and even Russian. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. The spa is small, with one sauna and a mini pool, but the atmosphere was a perfect 10/10. We couldn't find a single downside. Such a peaceful, relaxing place.

The stay felt average because the rooms let in far too much sound and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore neck 😉 The hotel itself is exceptional, and the staff are top-level.

I'm writing about the restaurant, not the hotel. From my first call to book a table for nine, the staff were friendly and helpful. They welcomed us warmly when we arrived, then looked after us kindly and attentively all evening. The food was a feast for the eyes and tasted wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their meal, including the two children. For the birthday celebrant, they brought out a cake with a candle and kind words from the staff, a lovely touch that really moved them. We had such a good evening and will definitely come back. Many thanks to everyone who took care of us. I can't recommend the restaurant highly enough.
