The rooms are large, and breakfast was excellent. It's a lovely spot, about 15 minutes from Kaunas, with beautiful grounds, a pond full of red water lilies, and a barbecue area. When the weather's nice, you can swim in the lake and visit the open-air ethnographic museum. There's also a pool and sauna at the hotel, but arrange to use them ahead of time. They may not be available if the hotel has reached its minimum occupancy, even though it only has five rooms. We had the fourth room and, after a long trip around Europe, were really hoping to unwind in the sauna and pool. Unfortunately, we were the only guests, so the sauna wasn't heated and the pool was closed.
