De Brauhotel

The room was fine, and reception was very helpful. Our only problem was the person in the next room, who turned out to be a new hotel employee. On our second night he kept us awake, knocking at our window and even trying to open our door. The staff dealt with the situation professionally. I hope the employee gets an appropriate warning.

On my motorcycle trip to France I stayed here for one night. The hotel’s locked garage was useful for keeping the bike secure, and it cost 5 euros for the night. I slept really well behind the very dark curtains. The room was quiet too, blocking out around 99% of the surrounding noise. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. There are also lots of places to get dinner within a five-minute walk. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We spent a week here while looking for a house to rent. The staff all spoke English and were a huge help, especially with our many bags. The work area was great too. We’d take a cappuccino downstairs during the day and get some work done comfortably. The mattress was comfortable and the curtains kept the room dark, so we slept very well. Recommended!

Everything else was okay, but the rooms aren’t fully soundproof. We could hear vehicles outside and people speaking in other rooms.
