Hotel Carpini

The rooms are just okay, and breakfast options are limited. They even take those few items away well before breakfast ends. The staff were rude. It’s fine if you only need somewhere to sleep for a night, but otherwise I’d avoid this hotel.

The rooms are plain but functional, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Good value for money, especially for a short stay.

It’s close to the offices of the nearby industries. The service was good, though rather distant. The rooms are really old and need a complete makeover, and even the sheets are worn out.

During our stay the fire alarm went off at midnight, and no one answered when several guests called the emergency numbers posted at reception. My family and I had to wait outside in freezing temperatures for two hours because the alarm was so loud. Someone finally came after the police intervened, but showed no remorse and didn’t apologize. He turned the alarm off, but it went off several more times. At breakfast the next day, that same man publicly shamed guests who arrived two minutes after the official closing time. He kept complaining about people coming late, even as they tried to eat after a sleepless night, and argued that he hadn’t slept much either because of what happened. The staff were rude and unresponsive. I stayed here expecting a holiday, but would tell others to avoid this hotel.
