Two coffees and an apple pie came to 18 euro, which surprised me and felt unreasonable. More than 4 euro for coffee from an automatic machine? Really?

After a 15 km hike, this was exactly the restaurant I wanted. The Paleron de bœuf was so tender and delicious, and the Panna Cotta caramel for dessert was amazing too. The food was very good, and everyone serving us was friendly. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area.

A cosy auberge feel, nicely decorated, with kind staff. The place avoids the dated, sometimes even smelly, atmosphere you can find elsewhere. It was a lovely find, with proper, satisfying food and some especially tasty, well prepared vegetables.

There are walking and hiking routes starting close to the hotel, and Chateau du Beaufort is an easy walk just down the road. The owner was very kind and clearly cared about our well being, helping with whatever we needed. We arrived as his restaurant was closing, and he suggested a couple of other places. Our room was a bit dated and nothing special, but it was plenty spacious, and we didn't spend much time in it. Breakfast was good, and the server was very nice, though 10€ felt a bit steep. The location is awesome.
