Cahita Camping Belle-Vue 2000

We heard about this place from others and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we loved being able to use the fire pits for open flames and make S'mores. The town and surrounding area are beautiful, with lots of hiking trails. We’ll definitely come back to camp and explore more.

I’m staying here for the week now. It gets a little busy, but nights are very quiet. A great campsite for families or people camping on their own.

The only downside was that some accommodations had no Wi-Fi signal. My daughters thought that was horrible, though it did push us into some family quality time! Otherwise, we had a great holiday here. It’s clean, quiet, family friendly and eco friendly, and the staff were very friendly. You can walk everywhere, with walking route starting points, the tourist information center, restaurants, and a supermarket all close by.

The setting is in nature, close to the Muellerthal trail, and the pitches are roomy. It also wasn’t expensive, so those are the reasons for my two stars. We were really unhappy with the sanitary facilities, though. They’re old and dirty, toilet paper was only available in the morning, and the toilet cubicle floors were grimy. Some toilets were blocked in the morning, and sometimes the shower barely gave me any water while I had shampoo in my hair. I understand it’s hard to keep things clean in high season, but good sanitary facilities are one of the most important things for campers. When I mentioned the need for extra cleaning and toilet paper, the woman at reception responded kindly.
