We stayed for two weeks and got to know everyone since it’s a family-run place. By the time we left, it felt like we’d been staying with friends. This isn’t a fancy, stuffy hotel; it’s cozy, with nicely sized rooms, beautiful sunlight, and fantastic views. The location is awesome, with incredible walking trails just off the main road and a bus stop right in front. Buses are free in Luxembourg!!! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning, with fresh coffee, croissants, and all the fixings. Dinner was always delicious and clearly made with fresh ingredients.

After our hike we stopped by for a drink on the terrace. When we asked for the drinks menu, the woman who owns the place pulled an unhappy face, as if she resented having to fetch it. I felt really uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The view and location are beautiful, but the woman working there, probably the owner, was very rude. She rolled her eyes when we asked for the drinks menu. It felt really uncomfortable, so I can’t recommend this place at all.

We wanted to celebrate a life milestone with a nice dinner and good wine, but this was the wrong restaurant choice. The fish had been cooked from frozen and was still frozen in spots. We ordered a great red wine that I thought was expensive, and still had to pay for water at the table, with no free tap water. On top of that, the woman who served us, who we think was the owner, was unfriendly and rude. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

The staff were really kind, and the food and rooms were decent. Hotel Pérékop is also perfectly placed for hiking. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.
