The staff were very friendly, and both breakfast and dinner were good, with dinner especially delicious. It was our first stay, but we'll definitely come back. The rooms are basic, though they have what you need and were very clean. The shower curtain and lack of air conditioning were the only downsides. We won't stay here in summer.

The rooms are decent and clean, and breakfast was okay, but the bacon situation made the experience worse. We like bacon with our breakfast. On the first day there was more than enough. On the second, an hour before breakfast closed, it was gone, and the waitress said she wasn't going to cook any more for us. On day three, it had all disappeared just an hour after breakfast began, with none left for the rest of the day. That's poor management if you don't put out enough food in the morning, even if you can arrive late and still have no chance of getting bacon. The waitress's answer felt lazy too. If you care about customers, you could go to the supermarket just a street away and buy more. I don't think we'll be back soon.

We had lunch here and chose the menu, which still had options at very reasonable prices. The portions were really big and tasty, and the person serving our table was great. Nothing about the place disappointed us. The walks in this area are great too.

There's no air conditioning, so the rooms can get hot, and no fridge for keeping food or drinks cold. The staff are very friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was good, and the menu has vegetarian options. It's a great hotel for walking the mullerthal trail. There isn't much to do in Berdorf, but Echternach is easy to reach by bus, with the stop 50m from the hotel, or by car. There's a little supermarket in Berdorf, though it has tourist prices and most things cost much more than at a supermarket in Echternach. The restaurant is also a good stop for a break along trail 2, which passes by.
