The restaurant is what I know this place for, more than the hotel. I haven't stayed overnight, but I've eaten here plenty of times. You pick the meat and how much you want, then cook it on a hot stone with generous homemade sauces. It feels like a step up from a standard steakhouse. There are also lots of salads, Luxembourgish and French starters, main dishes, and desserts. I love eating here.

Even when the place is busy, the staff are welcoming. The Angus steak is still good quality, and they'll cook it how you ask, even well done, with no judgment or questions. It’s a quality steakhouse, comparable to one in the U.S., with Angus beef on the menu. (Update, 04/20/2022.)

We were really glad we picked this hotel. It made a welcome place to stay each night while walking the Escapardenne Lee Trail, which we did over three days. We took bus 135 to Bourscheid Mill, bus 170 to Hoscheid, and bus L10 to Kautenbach because the train wasn't running. The trains and buses run regularly, are quick, and best of all, completely free. It’s an excellent base for the trail.

The station for trains and buses is about a 7-minute walk away. The hotel is nice and quite small, perhaps fewer than 10 rooms. Breakfast costs 9€ and is somewhat limited, though enough. There’s no AC or fans for summer, so it can get pretty warm.

Wow, I’ve never felt so mistreated. The staff’s arrogance here is really out of the ordinary. I guess you’re not welcome if you don’t speak French. We went to the Italian restaurant next door, where the staff were friendly and at least tried to communicate in English.
