The room, spa, and shared areas were kept very clean, and the free WiFi was a real plus and easy to set up. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially in the bar and restaurant. I’d recommend the hotel. My room was short on amenities: there was no vanity kit or tea and coffee tray. I could accept the lack of soap, but not having a kettle or complimentary tea and coffee was disappointing, and meant spending more at the bar.

I was impressed by the hospitality and the level of service. The rooms were spotless, and I had a wonderful stay. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable visit. We were disappointed, especially after choosing this hotel for my husband’s birthday. I’d compared it with several places, including hotels in the city center, and picked this one because it had a pool and gym and was advertised as four-star. I expected the usual inclusions, though maybe this is normal for a hotel in Luxembourg. Getting around wasn’t as easy as we’d hoped. The city is a 10-minute drive away, but on Sundays buses only run every two hours, and at other times they run hourly. Breakfast costs 18 euros each. There were lots of staff, but the tables had only tablecloths, with no cutlery or salt and pepper set out, so we had to fetch everything ourselves. It felt like breakfast was an afterthought. There wasn’t much hot food to choose from: scrambled eggs, bacon, and small sausages. The hot dishes were cold, although the scrambled eggs tasted good. There were no decaf tea bags. Maybe that’s normal in Luxembourg, but it wasn’t what I expected. The room had several problems. The basin wouldn’t hold water, and there was no hair conditioner, which was a real issue because I couldn’t get a brush through my hair. There was no body lotion either, which I’d expect at a four-star hotel with a spa and pool. I called room service to ask for an ironing board, but nobody answered. The switchboard said they didn’t have boards, though there was an ironing board a few floors down. I was half dressed, with hair I couldn’t brush, and wasn’t going to go searching for an ironing room. I also called about room service because it was listed on the phone, but the switchboard said they didn’t offer it. There were no facilities for making tea or coffee in the room. All in all, it was a shame and a rather disappointing stay.

The pool and steam room were well maintained and really good. The hotel was clean and pleasant, and it was easy to reach by car. The one downside was that the pool closed at 9 p.m.
