There are dining options nearby, and it's handy for the train station and the free city trams, including the one to the airport. The hotel is small and nice, with a good room and bathroom.

We slept soundly despite being a stone's throw from the central station. I expected city noise to get into the room, but it didn't, so you can be in the middle of things without losing sleep. The hotel is a real gem in the heart of the city. Breakfast was included and better than expected: along with the usual bread, pastries and fruit, there were cooked eggs, bacon and sausages, plus freshly squeezed orange juice. We upgraded to a junior suite, though we hardly used the lounge area. Next time, we'd book the standard room and stay longer.

The location is quiet, around a 14-minute walk from the center and close to the train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful with advice on getting around. They speak English, French and Dutch, plus a little Spanish, so communication wasn't a problem. Breakfast was great, with plenty of options. I'd recommend this hotel.

The room was larger than average and the service was good. City hotel is right by the train station, which makes it convenient for visiting the city, hiking in mullerthal or going to remisch for vineyards. The same breakfast was served every day, which got monotonous and stopped being something to look forward to. It may be a good choice without breakfast included, or for a stay of just one day.

A large, very clean room, and the free tram is just a few minutes away. Great breakfast too.
