La Pipistrelle B&B Hotel

We loved the place. The rooms were really nice, the staff lovely, and the location was great, right near the city centre. Highly recommend.

The location is perfect, by the river, with an elevator up to the centre and bars and restaurants nearby. Really beautiful rooms and great service too.

The historic stone wall inside and the weathered stairwell gave the place a lot of character, and the breakfast was lovely, though it costs extra. It’s in a great spot in the Grund neighborhood, with easy check-in, good rooms, and great service. A free elevator nearby takes you up to the top of the plateau if you’d rather not walk up the hill or can’t manage it.

The room was really spacious, and they had left us a homemade apple pie that was very kind of them and delicious too. The building is very nice and UNESCO protected. The location was nice, though next time I’d choose the upper part of town. I checked myself in and out, which felt a bit awkward. Parking around here is difficult when it’s crowded at the weekend, and without an elevator you hear people going up and down. The room could have been cleaner. The bed was two single beds pushed together, though it should have been a double. They don’t provide amenities in the room, explaining that it’s for environmental protection. One of the four windows had no curtains, so light came in in the morning.
