Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa

We booked ahead to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The restaurant was elegant, with a really nice, relaxed and quiet atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the risotto and steak, and the bartender made us delicious cocktails. I’d recommend it for a special occasion.

My stay at the Marriott in Luxembourg Gare was outstanding. The hotel was modern, spotless, and well located for both business and leisure. The Hotel Director made the experience especially memorable. His professionalism, kindness, and real commitment to guest satisfaction stood out. He was always present and attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and cared for. That kind of dedication made a real difference. The staff were friendly, efficient, and ready to help, reflecting his leadership. My room was comfortable and well maintained, the amenities were excellent, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and inviting. I’d highly recommend the Marriott Luxembourg Gare for the quality of the hotel and its management, and will definitely return on my next visit to Luxembourg.

We asked at the front desk where to buy more of one sweet from the welcome treats, but couldn’t find it in the shops we checked. At the end of the day, a whole plate of them was waiting in our room. Such a thoughtful gesture from the staff.

The canelés they’d left in our room were so good that we asked the concierge where to get more. They explained that the hotel makes them in-house and doesn’t sell them at the restaurant. Later, we came back to find a full plate, a handwritten note, and a printed story about how the canelés were created. We’d already been welcomed after check-in with desserts and a note, but this was amazing service.
