There’s a library, a TV and a room to relax in, and the kitchen has everything needed if you want to cook. The hotel itself is small and cozy, with lovely interiors and a friendly owner. We really enjoyed staying here. A souvenir and local gift shop is on the first floor nearby.

It’s clean, and the 25€ nightly price is a plus. There’s a public kitchen available too. Still, the place gives motel vibes despite seeming quiet at first, since the surroundings are noisy. The beds are really hard and uncomfortable, the TV options are very limited, there’s no soap in the shower, and breakfast isn’t available. It promises a lot, but didn’t quite live up to that.

The location and price are both excellent, and I’d rate everything else 9/10. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Kurland. Breakfast wasn’t included, though there’s a public banya just two minutes behind the hotel. Thursday is women’s day there, Friday men’s day.

The kitchen was handy, and the living room is big enough for a large group. My room was clean too. This is the best place I’ve stayed in Latvia so far.
