The river beach was a lovely spot for kid-friendly wild swimming, and there’s a shop nearby. We also enjoyed the lake, boat, and sauna. We had a great family-and-friends Līgo & Jāņi celebration at Gliemji, and the accommodation was lovely. Thanks so much, we hope to return. The sauna was fantastic, and we also had a hot tub. Gliemji is under 2 km from the city center, with peace and quiet all around. The landlady is warm and welcoming, very responsive, and sent us information about attractions nearby. The building was designed for events, though she now prefers smaller groups, especially families. There’s one bedroom with six beds, plus five double beds in the large first-floor hall. The kitchen has what you need, though we did miss having a larger bowl. We celebrated Midsummer here.

Everything was clean, neat, and beautiful, with all the essentials provided. The hostess was so kind, welcoming, and quick to respond. It’s a quiet, spacious place that’s fantastic for relaxing, and we were very, very happy with our stay. THANK YOU!
