We booked two houses three months ahead, but when we arrived someone else was already staying in them and nobody seemed to know about our reservation. The owners shouted at us and weren’t apologetic, and there was no discussion of compensation. We’ll be spending the first day of our vacation looking for somewhere else to stay. Avoid.

There’s plenty of room for camping as well as lots of rental houses. The beach is about 20 minutes away, or 10 by bike, and Cafe Dzintarins is roughly a 20-minute trip too. Great place.

A peaceful place with beautiful sea views and the sea close by. There’s also a huge area that works well for a party or a family picnic.

I really liked the owner, who was kind and helpful. The camping area is huge and in a very convenient spot.
