The woman at the counter was really nice, and the service was good. The price is low, but that doesn’t make up for how run-down and dumpy the place feels. Walking along the corridor made my skin crawl. It’s more like a shabby apartment building than a hotel, especially with other cheap hotels in Dauvgavpills that are much nicer.

The garden was lovely and well kept, and the room was cozy and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was the highlight for me: not a lot of choice, but the homemade food was absolutely great. It’s in a residential area, so there’s basically nothing interesting close by. That also means there’s nothing disturbing the peace. Strongly recommended, and worth more than double the price.

I slept really well here, and the staff were super friendly. The rooms were bright, clean, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom with a shower. You can even have a BBQ outside. I was pleasantly surprised, especially for the price and location. Thank you!

Helpful staff and low prices are the main positives. It might suit you for a single night if you’re exhausted enough not to notice the noise or the worn linens, furniture, and equipment. The railway station area is busy, with trains, loud announcements all night, and vibrations in the building. Breakfast is sparse, private parking is small, and the hotel is far from the city center. There’s also bridge construction nearby.

The railway runs right next to the hotel, so the noise can be annoying at night. My room was small but suited one or two people, with a refrigerator, TV, and shower and toilet. The service was great, and the staff were nice.
