I came back and the food and service were still just as good. Villa Ksenija has a small, charming dining room, so booking ahead is a must, but the cozy size suits the place. The staff are attentive without hovering, and the food is carefully cooked and beautifully presented. For that quality and the luxurious feel, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. I’ll definitely book again. One note: the hotel isn’t open, but the restaurant is.

Natalia made our birthday dinner feel special from the start. She handled the reservation, put together a menu that suited our tastes, and took care of all the little details. She stayed attentive throughout and made sure we could relax and enjoy being celebrated. The food was exquisite, and the warm, elegant setting felt intimate. We’re already looking forward to coming back to Villa Ksenija.

The food and service were outstanding for the price, and celebrating my birthday at Villa Ksenija was a pleasure. Thanks to everyone who looked after us. I’d definitely return, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call it the best restaurant in Daugavpils city.

This is a great place with a lot of history, but nobody was at reception to welcome us when we arrived. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to show up, then unfortunately had to leave.

You can stay overnight in the hotel rooms, and there’s parking inside the grounds plus enough space for big events. As a restaurant, it’s the best in Daugavpils: meals are delicious and nicely presented, with a good choice and professional service. You can eat in the cozy, bright house or outside in the garden.
