Amber Rooms

The beds were the worst part for me. I barely slept during my two nights because the mattress was worn and the metal bars underneath were bent, so I could feel them against my back. The hostel had a lovely kitchen and nice staff, though, and the amber theme made the place feel cozy and welcoming. We stayed in a private room on the first floor, which had much more attention to detail than the shared dorms upstairs.

The location was good, the place was clean, and the woman working there was really friendly. But the walls and windows are paper thin. You can hear the nightclub bass until 3am, as well as people walking to the bathroom and talking outside. I'm a light sleeper and had a terrible night's sleep. You also have to pay for towels and make your own bed.

You can really hear everything here, from noisy clubs at night to other guests going to the toilet or shower and talking. I'm a light sleeper, so keep that in mind if you are too. The room was clean and the location was great, and there was a good breakfast or snack available all day.

We found the rooms comfortable and everything worked well. The toilet and shower were clean, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The Amber room hostel is in a convenient, central spot, and was definitely worth the money. Thank you.
