Breakfast was perfecto. The hotel gym is small, but clean and new, with towels, water, and cleaning supplies. I had it to myself, and there was enough equipment to get a workout in if you were a little flexible. My room was ready before check-in, and the woman at the front desk was polite, helpful, and great. The room was tidy and had everything I needed, including a dental kit. It has an old-school feel and worked perfectly for a quick stay.
Our window looked out over the town centre, which I really liked. The hotel is right in the middle of Jelgava, and had a warm, welcoming feel. The staff were very friendly and the prices reasonable. I’d definitely like to come back. Many thanks.
It has that special old-school, grandparents’ place feel. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They spoke English, which made things much easier.
The buffet breakfast had plenty of options and was very good, though the coffee from the self-serve machine wasn’t great. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had a lovely view. Check-in was quick and a friendly staff member greeted us. We chose the hotel for a night while in town for the sand sculptures festival, and its location made it easy to get to events in the area. It’s easy to reach from the main road, with free guest parking. We had a great stay and would come back if we’re in the area again. Thanks.
The bed felt a bit hard, and breakfast could have had a little more choice. Still, the room was clean and came with everything from a sewing kit, toothbrush and toothpaste to a coffee machine. I only wished there were slippers. The hotel is close to the city centre and the main sights, and parking is free.
