The hotel was clean and comfortable, with nice rooms, a great bath, tasty breakfasts, and a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were helpful, efficient, and spoke fluent English. I enjoyed my stay, and the location was excellent, near a supermarket, train station, bus stop, beach, and a really good bakery. The big disappointment was the spa. It’s advertised as a SPA hotel, but it was closed for two of the three days we were there. By the time it opened, most booking slots were gone. The spa was one of our main reasons for choosing this hotel. We also booked foot massages. Mine was good, and the woman who did it was kind and professional. My friend had a terrible experience: after a discount, she paid 38 euros for half an hour and got an unprofessional treatment that left large bruises. The male masseur was unpleasant too, making condescending “mansplaining” comments throughout and even stopping to check if my friend was listening. The hotel itself is nice, clean, and comfortable, but I can’t recommend it as a true SPA hotel. They should seriously rethink how they run the spa and who they hire as massage therapists.

The breakfast and service deserve praise, everything was 5+. We felt welcome, and the rooms were clean and comfortably furnished. I also tried the spa services, and the massage was great, so I recommend those too. Parking is the one downside: there aren’t many spaces, and one night we had to park across the street.

The beach is just two blocks away, and the busy center is about 1.5 km off, an easy trip on foot, by Bolt, or on an e-scooter. The modern hotel has spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Breakfast was OK, and a full load of laundry costs only 10 Euro. I’d probably stay here again when I’m back in Jurmala.

We had a peaceful weekend by the sea at Kirshi Hotel, away from the busy city center but only a short walk from the shore. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were attentive and friendly, taking care of our requests with a smile. It was nice seeing so many travelers from Lithuania and Estonia there too. A lovely getaway spot, highly recommended.

There’s no refund if you book several nights and leave early. Also, the apartment-style family rooms have stairs up to the second floor, so they’re not very child or toddler friendly. The bathroom was small and uncomfortable.
