A nice place!
Really nice place.
It's a pleasant, fairly comfortable house, but the cleanliness was poor. There was dog hair on the carpets, sofa, and chairs, and it felt as if the owners weren't cleaning at all. We only got detergents and shampoo after asking.
I wouldn't recommend this place. I booked a room at Jomas Street 75, but while I was on the way to the hotel, I got a message saying the room would actually be in these apartments. It was so cold inside that I had to wear a jacket, and the place was dirty and not cosy.
The location is near the center, but the building is by a crossroads on the main road, close to the railway, and the noise was really bothersome. We couldn't leave the windows open. The heating was turned up to 25 degrees Celsius, perhaps they thought that was best for us. Inside, almost everything seemed to need repair or replacement. The curtains and bedspreads were dirty, the mattresses torn, and we had to fix the leaking toilet ourselves. Water had formed huge puddles on the floor, which felt unsafe. The kitchenette was just a name: there was a table and fridge in the hallway, but no sink or stove, so washing hands or fruit meant going upstairs to the second floor shower. There were only a few dishes and they were dirty, with no salt, sugar, or even cheap tea bags. There was a safe but no key. We asked several times for a clothes dryer, but they didn't ask us for the safe key. I wouldn't rely on the reviews. Apparently friends and acquaintances write them, and nobody checks whether they're true.
