The sea is only about 100 metres away, and its sound can wake you early, so you won’t need an alarm. This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The rooms are small, suited to two people, but the beds are comfortable and the blankets and pillows are really soft. There’s a shared kitchen, plus three showers and two or three toilets on each floor. The closest regular shop, like Maxima, is 3.7 km away.

The sea is very close, and the toilets and showers are nice. The room felt a bit rough and cramped, but for the price it was decent. Noise can be an issue depending on who else is staying at the hostel. The kitchen is good for cooking and has a couple of fridges. Any store is quite a walk away, around 20-30 minutes.

A couple of minutes gets you to the sea, and the forest air is lovely. There’s a nice kitchen with what you need to prepare meals. If you’re active and don’t plan to spend much time indoors, this place works really well. Some of the nearby buildings aren’t very pretty, but the place itself is clean and nice.

It’s a nice student hostel in beautiful Jurmala. The private rooms are a little small, but fine, and there’s a kitchen and bathroom on every floor. If you have a car, Riga is a quick drive away.

For the price, this is a great place. The beach is very close, though the town center takes a bit longer to reach. Inside, the first floor has modern, clean facilities, including two shared showers and three toilets per floor. The spacious kitchen is well equipped. The outside looks a little dated and dirty, and there are no tables or chairs for sitting in the yard.
