Sunrise Apartments

The location is the one good point: it’s close to the beach, main street, and railway station. Staying here with a dog was possible, and the balcony was handy. The grill was nice, though we brought our own coals. The kitchen had a few supplies and utensils. The house, beds, and furniture felt like they were from the Soviet era. Showers were sometimes cold, and the beds squeaked and weren’t comfortable. We had two rooms sharing a bathroom and toilet, but the room doors had broken locks, so we couldn’t secure them. The bathroom silicone had come off, causing water to leak onto other floors. The sewers were blocked and flooded downstairs. Instead of fixing the plumbing, the owner complained and blamed us for washing a dog and being drunk. We didn’t wash the dog even once. The house wasn’t cleaned during our five-day stay, either. The owner was rude and didn’t even apologize. Fixing damage and clearing dirty sewers isn’t the guests’ job. This place is overrated and the stay wasn’t worthwhile. I can’t recommend it to anyone.

For such a small room, it has quite a few useful things: a TV, fridge, closet, toilet, shower, and towels, and it’s near the sea. There are also some plates, cups, and cutlery, but I think you have to wash them by hand. The room smelled damp, maybe moldy, and without an air freshener the toilet smell came through now and then. We were two adults staying two nights, and there was just one soap and two shower gels. The bed was very hard and small, barely enough room for two people to lie shoulder to shoulder. The pillows were tiny. We also found old rubbish under the bed, so I don’t think the owners clean the room very thoroughly. The house is between a street on one side and train tracks on the other. Sleeping through those sounds? No.

A complete disaster.
