Valensija - Suite for two in Nice Hotel

There’s free parking on site, though only about five spaces. That was one of the few positives. We paid 60€ for one night, and this motel-like side building was not worth it. I can’t say what the rooms in the main villa are like, but this one was awful, and I wouldn’t recommend it. We booked through Booking.com after seeing decent reviews and okay photos. The listing seemed to show the big villa, but for some reason our room was in a separate, motel-like building. It was badly outdated and dirty, and the large room looked straight out of the 70s. The bed was hard and worn. I checked it for bedbugs because the place gave me that feeling. I didn’t find any stains, but there were other bugs, dead and alive, including a dead one between the sheets. It didn’t make the bed feel inviting. The thin curtains barely blocked the light, and people in nearby buildings could probably see into the room. The drinking glasses had lip marks. The doors and walls were so thin we could hear everything from other rooms and the corridor. The bed sheets and room also had other bugs around. The receptionist didn’t really speak English. He tried to explain something about breakfast, but it was hard to understand. We hadn’t booked breakfast.
