There was plenty of room, and we could nap on the sofa during the day with our child. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment had what we needed. The interior really does feel vintage or Scandinavian, as the name suggests. Everything is walkable from this good location. It might get a bit damp in rainy or winter weather, since part of the house is buried.

The apartment was spotless and in perfect order, with lovely wooden details, a renovated stove, and a nice range of magazines. I got in touch quickly and easily using the phone number on the Kuldīga tourism page, and the communication was very pleasant. To me, it's the best value apartment in Kuldīga.

You can hear everything because there's no soundproofing: people talking, doors opening, and everyone coming and going.
