Brīvdienu māja Sauleskrasti

At Holiday house "Sauleskrasti", everything is simple, and that’s exactly what we liked. It’s a real escape into nature, well away from the crowds. We were a big group of friends, with some in the house, which has a stove, fridge, dishes and the essentials, and the rest in tents. There was room for everyone. The dog loved it too. We played football and volleyball, swam, and the kids had plenty to do. Later we danced outside with music playing by the projector. Mornings started with coffee and a swim. During the day, we took SUPs and a boat out to sea, while some went by boat to the lake or cycled to the seaside meadow. We ended the evenings around a campfire with solyanka cooked in a pot. Just freedom, nature and your own people. A great place to relax.

The water from the taps was yellow, as other reviews had mentioned, so we knew what to expect. There was a large bottle of drinking water in the house. We couldn’t bring the crib down from the second floor, though. It’s a spacious two-story house with a terrace, grill and huge grounds, and all the listed amenities are included. The location by the river and the views are excellent.

A lovely big outdoor area with football and volleyball courts, a terrace and the river nearby. There’s room for improvement inside: no hairdryer, no coffee, and I didn’t care for the synthetic blankets. Still, it’s a great place for a summer holiday.
