There’s a nice atmosphere here, and the people are friendly. Campers have plenty of room, and everything was clean and tidy. You can hear the road in the evening, which is the one downside, but we still had a really pleasant stay.

The mosquitoes were almost eating me alive, and there was no light at the camp where we slept. Some of the houses had no toilet at all. You also can’t use the kitchen after 9, and taking out any class or equipment was prohibited. The owner wasn’t very welcoming, and you have to pay for literally everything. For me, it was the worst place I’ve ever been. Do your research before going.

We stayed in a heated cabin with its own toilet, which was a good choice with winter approaching. The staff were absolute legends and helped us pick the right place. We also enjoyed a brisk walk and a campfire during our quick getaway by the river. It’s close to Riga and reasonably priced, so we’d recommend it 👌

I’ve travelled to lots of places, but I didn’t feel comfortable at this camping site. It didn’t have a friendly atmosphere for enjoying a camping trip.
