Baltic Design Apartments with free parking and self check-in

A pleasant stay in a cozy apartment in Riga center. It was very clean and hygienic, with a nice interior, and the owner was polite and well behaved.

The owner was helpful when I had questions and when I needed to extend my stay. I spent a week here, and the apartments can be booked by the day or for longer, with larger and smaller options and views of either the street or a quiet courtyard. Mine had what I needed for daily life, from dishes, glasses, cutlery, pans, and pots to coffee, tea, sugar, and even oil. Clean bed linen and towels, a hairdryer, and small hotel-style shampoo packets were provided too. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged, and I highly recommend the place. I spent two weeks in a studio and found it great value for a longer stay in Riga. The quiet room faced a courtyard, matched the photos, and had a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom plus fast Wi-Fi. There are shared laundry facilities, and cleaning can be requested. Self check-in was easy, and the owner replied quickly whenever we had questions. The place is right on the main street near public transport, so I didn't need a car, though parking is available nearby. A good price for having your own place in Riga.

The apartment was okay for a short stay, but it didn't really match what we expected. The building is very old and has a distinctive smell that we noticed inside the apartment as well. It was rather cold indoors, the windows needed a good cleaning, and there were no basic toiletries like shower gel. The sofa bed in the kitchen made the space feel cramped, and the house was very echoey. We also found the location a little hard to find.
