Champêtre Park View Apartments

Really good.

A clean, pleasant place at an affordable price. The room is well heated, and getting into Riga city is easy. It’s 10 minutes from the airport. I recommend it.

The apartment was clean and stocked with plenty of towels, soap, dishes, and a kettle. It was nice overall, but the heat was a problem: with 20 degrees outside, it was 28 inside. Only one window opened, so it felt like an oven and I slept with the door open. I was in the single-story building. Please make check-in a little faster and share the information.

I was very pleased with my stay and would consider coming back. Everything was neat and clean, and the room was warm, with central heating available if needed. The guest-house room had a bed, sofa, a folded bed that works as a wall shelf, a table, refrigerator, and fireplace. In theory, six adults could sleep there. The host lights the fireplace for guests, though I arrived late and it had already gone out. A small kitchenette beside the main room had a stove, sink, microwave, washing machine, and the necessary utensils. From there, you enter the shower. I missed having a TV for watching a series in the evening. The property is in the city, in a low-rise neighborhood, and the building stands behind a fence on private grounds. You can park inside, or on the road, though a car there would get in the way of traffic. They rent out part of a one-story guest house with its own entrance. One room faces the parking area and another the garden. Mine faced the parking lot, with the entrance opening straight from the street into the room. That felt a little inconvenient, though it wouldn’t be an issue in good weather. One important concern: there’s no smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector in the room, despite the fireplace. I strongly recommend the owners install both. It’s extremely important.
