We didn't get to stay in one of the couple's hotel rooms, but the vehicle collection is well worth considering, even if classic vehicles aren't usually your thing. We were finishing our Baltic trip when we found this place in a plain but pleasant neighborhood. Normund welcomed us, along with his friendly dog Greta, and showed us around his extensive collection of bicycles, motorcycles, and cars. It was a marvelous visit. The tour costs 4 Euro and is a must if you're interested in this kind of thing.

Every car, motorcycle, and bicycle in this incredible collection is in excellent condition, and each has its own story and history.

Kārlis, the grandson of the grandfather who started this family collection 60 years ago, guided us around and was very polite. At first I wasn't sure there would be much to see, but we ended up spending a good hour hearing stories about different kinds of transport from different periods in history. You'll have to come see it for yourself to find out more. P. S. The dog doesn't bite!

For 4 euros, this tour is absolutely worth it. The collection is very nice, though it took a little effort to find since it's in the owner's backyard. The woman who showed us around was attentive, and her English was good enough.
