The restaurant made our second evening: the service was warm, attentive and personal, and the staff really seemed to care about meeting our expectations. At reception, a lovely young woman surprised us by lighting the chimney, so we could enjoy a glass of wine in the cozy lobby. That small gesture made the evening special. We stayed at Hotel Aparjods for two nights and felt looked after throughout. The hotel was spotless and beautifully kept. We’d booked the room while driving from Riga to Sigulda, and confirmation came right away, which was very easy and convenient. Thank you to everyone who welcomed us. We felt valued and cared for, and can’t wait to return. If I could give it a 10, I’d give it an 11!

The meat was tasty, and the baked potatoes were soft and well seasoned. We had a pretty long wait, about 40 minutes, but there were six of us and the restaurant can get busy. I was only there for the restaurant, and I’d come back.

The restaurant has a nice look, and there’s a large parking lot beside the hotel. After a long day at Turaida Museum and Gauja National Park, we had dinner here on September 3rd, 2025. The pork schnitzel and fish soup were both tasty, and we had a local non-alcoholic IPA with them. We left happy and would warmly recommend it.

Everything was very pleasant, and the place was spotless. The food was absolutely perfect at both breakfast and dinner, with fresh, quality ingredients.

The apartment was huge, comfortable and quiet, with plenty of amenities, and we could always find a spot in the spacious parking area. The restaurant on site also looked appealing, and the food seemed tasty. It’s a peaceful place in a lovely setting near Riga, great for a quiet break. The staff were supportive throughout, especially when our flight was delayed and we arrived very late. They handled the late check-in perfectly and also suggested nearby places to visit and things to do. I want to emphasize how attentive the apartment staff were at every point. Everything about our stay was perfect.
