The owner was very kind, and the price was really good, especially given how close it is to Sigulda Center and the Gauja national park. The room had what I needed, but no extras. I had a budget double room for two nights, and it definitely felt budget. It was very cramped for two people, with a bed that felt too small, even though we managed. The bath was incredibly tiny, too small even for a child to stretch their legs in. It was also quite hot in the room during our July stay. To me, this would be perfect for one person, but not so much for two.

After a long day of walking, this was a lovely place to rest. The building looks great and was spotless and tidy, with a super comfy bed. There was also a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Our host welcomed us warmly and was happy to help with anything we needed. The price was great too.

Sleeping in the attic studio's hammock room was a refreshing change from an ordinary hotel room, and we loved the experience. It had everything we might need. The host was very friendly, polite, and helpful.

We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, which had its own bathroom. It was a little cold without a heater, but otherwise clean and nice. The walls are very thin, so how well you sleep might depend on your neighbours.

This hotel has a distinct Latvian atmosphere and feels more like a boutique place. The organic breakfast was delicious and brought right to our room. It's a great base for visiting the beautiful green mountains in the middle of Latvia.
