The food was good, as it usually is here, and I've generally had a good experience with the service too. This visit was a letdown, though. I ordered mini pancakes with condensed milk and blueberries, got a pager, and took a seat. The café wasn't busy when I arrived and the line was short, but after about half an hour it had filled up. I figured that might explain the wait. Another half hour went by, and my order still hadn't come, even though everyone else had their food, including people who ordered after me. I went to ask what had happened. The waitress wrote something down and said it would be ready soon. Five minutes later she brought it over, giving me a sly look, and didn't apologize for forgetting my order. The food itself was good, but her attitude disappointed me. She was a young woman who looked like she might still be in school, and after this I don't think she should be hired, or should be fired. I won't be back for a while.

The hosts were warm and pleasant, and the accommodation was clean and tidy. Thanks for making us feel welcome.

We spent a week here as a family in the luxury apartment. The hosts were really kind, and it was a beautiful place to stay. Everything seemed well thought out, and breakfast was available too. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Talsi.

The apartments are lovely, with a beautiful view from the window. Attention has gone into the interior and the little things that make a guest comfortable. The service was excellent, and I had a wholly positive stay.
