When we were looking for somewhere to stay, the apartments at the hotel "Klosteris" didn't seem worth the 50 € per day. I called the owner, Ilze, and explained that we were homeless. We got to the hotel within half an hour, and the fireplace was already lit when we came in. The place was spotless. Thanks so much, Ilze. Next time we'll stay at "Rubīni" for sure, and I'd recommend it to others too.

There’s a lot of history here, and the hostess is welcoming. We also heard about Ventspils’ past during our stay. The location is good, and the room is comfortable, carefully looked after, and thoughtfully set up. I’d definitely recommend it.

Nothing fancy here, but it's fine if all you need is a place to sleep for the night.

The rooms were clean and had what we needed, whether for a few days with the family or just an overnight business stay.

A tidy, clean place to unwind, with all the essentials.
